"Start from data" with a custom restfull API

Good morning 🙂 A question: before, in the (discontinued) PowerApps Enterprise version, it was possible to "Start from Data" new PowerAapp using custom API (*if it was declared a managed API App in Azure*).

Now, Enterprise Version and PowerApps option in Azure are gone. APIs can be imported directly in the PowerApps, but it is not possible anymore to "Start from data" with the custom API. Sure, it can be bound to controls manually, but that "start from data" thing was cool.

Am I entirely missing something, or is this cool option temporarily (or forever) gone?

    Hi,

     

    It's the fact that Enterprise PowerApps would not continue, and in the standard version PowerApps, currently there is no template for "Start from Data" with custom API. The reason may probably be that the standard version PowerApps was not designed for custom API. I agree with you it would be great to bring this feature back to standard version. Could you please submit this idea into the PowerApps idea board?
