Dependent action completed with status 'Failed' and code 'BadRequest'

I have a very simple test Flow that stopping working.  It starts when a new item is created in a SharePoint list.  Followed by a condition that checks if the title contains a value of 'xyz'.  If Yes, then the Flow creates an item in a different list.  The condition fails with the following error:

The execution of template action 'Create_item' is skipped: dependant action 'Does_Title_contain_xyz' completed with status 'Failed' and code 'BadRequest'.

Any thoughts about this?  Is this just a backend failure of Flow or am I doing something wrong.  It worked before.

PS - Microsoft note that you spell the word "dependant" incorrectly in the error message. It should be "dependent".

    Hi TomCastiglia,

I had a similar flow with you. When an item is created in SharePoint list A, if the Title contains “Test”, then a new item would be created on SharePoint list B. If no, send an email. I ran this flow for many times, I didn’t get the error message. Below is a screenshot of my flow.

As you said that your flow worked before, so have you edited this flow? If yes, I would suggest you try to delete and recreate this flow. Please try if this works for you.

    Best regards,
