I don't have a license to run "Premium" triggers or actions, so I choose triggers and actions that aren't identified as "Premium".
I made an instant cloud flow starting with "When an HTTP request is received". I don't see any identified as "Premium" here:
Then as an action I added "Post message in a chat or channel" which I use in working flows so I know I can use those with my current license.
When I save my flow, I get:
It seems like it would be possible for the error message to identify which trigger(s) or action(s) are causing this error, but clearly it's left up to the user to figure out.
So I Googled the trigger name to see if there's a page where it actually says that it's Premium. You can look for yourselves, but I couldn't find any official information that identified it as Premium or not. The closest I found not exactly definitive.
Some community member (not a Microsoft representative) said it was "considered as premium" whatever that means.
I put in like 45 minutes building a flow with this trigger only to find out at the end that I wasn't going to be able to use it.
Then spent more time creating the simplest proof of concept version (my example above) to see if I could figure out which part required Premium, since Power Automate is not at all helpful there. Both were apparently a waste of my time.
So I have two questions:
* Is there a Microsoft website that identifies all the MS premium connectors?
* Is there any way at all in Power Automate to tell whether a feature is Premium or not?
Ok, I found a workaround to the poor labeling in the initial dialog for choosing a trigger.
If I click the 'skip' button and then choose the trigger myself, I get a different dialog that actually shows the Premium tag on the icon:
That info is conspicuously missing in the initial dialog, but at least there's *some* way to find it.
If Microsoft didn't actually publish a website that has the licensing information for each trigger I guess I could always fall back to this method.
