Flow seems to run but email never gets sent

I'm using the Flow template "When an item in a SharePoint list is modified send an email."  It seems to run (I get green checks in the run history for each step) but the email never seems to arrive.  Also the Output field in the run history shows a status of 200, and I can't find what that means.  Any tips for troubleshooting this?

    Hi @ToddIStark ,

Do you have any Outlook rules that will send the arrived email into another folder?

Have you checked if they are in the Junk folder?

I have started the flow from the template you mentioned, whenever an item is created or modified, an email will be sent to my email box.

    Best regards,

The template "When an item in a SharePoint list is modified send an email" was selected from the available templates and consists of three steps:

    1.  SharePoint: When a New Item is Created

    2.  O365: Get My Profile (V2)

    3.  Outlook: Send an Email

All three steps have green checkmarks and the email address the profile step found appears correct, which is why I'm having trouble figuring this out.  I get other email notifications from Flows.  Do you know what Status 200 means in the output of the email step?  Is that a success or a failure?  I think that's where I'm stuck, I can't tell whether this is an email issue or a Flow issue.

    Thank you very much Rob.

Thank you Mabel, I haven't found it anywhere else yet.  In your last step do you get Status 200 in the output field?  That's the part that makes me think this might be a Flow issue.  If Status 200 is a success then I'll assume this is an email issue rather than a Flow issue.

    kind regards,

    Todd

I've discovered the cause of the symptom.  It turns out that I have two Microsoft accounts associated with the same email, an older "personal" account and an Azure "office" account.  The emails were being routed to my "office" (Azure) instance and I was trying to read them from the "personal" instance.

I made this determination by adding a hardcoded email into the sender list in the Outlook step, and the email was sent properly to the hardcoded email but not to the ones being taken programmatically from the profile or the SharePoint object.  The email address that Flow pulls from the profile appears correct but the email never goes there.  Neither could I find the email in any junk or spam folders.

I closed all browsers out and logged back in to email online but this time selected the "office" instance associated with that email and I was able to locate the missing emails.

So this does not appear to be a Flow issue at this point and I'm assuming the Status 200 from the Flow is a success code.  This was caused by having multiple MS online instances associated with the same email address, and the Flow Outlook connector preferentially used the instance I wasn't reading email from.
