Creating Multi-Level Approval Workflow

Hello

 

I am looking to create a sequential, approval workflow when a user uploads a document to the document library in SharePoint online. 

 

Requirements:

 

  • There will be seven groups of approvers which the document will need to go through  - with a first to respond approval for each group of approvers.
  • Once approved, the item will have an approved status, and vice versa

 

Any help would be much appreciated!

    Watching some YT videos, I was able to configure an approval workflow using SharePoint Groups which would save me hard coding e-mails. I require some support on making this sequential i.e. once one group approves the document, it will move to the second group of approvers. Is this possible?
