Flow not triggered for PowerApps Users but triggers for the Owner

Hello Power People!

I am having an issue with the triggering of a flow.

Basically, i have a PowerApps app connected to a SharePoint List as a data source. The PowerApps app has button which triggers a flow, which updates the SharePoint List, creates an Approval, send a card in MS Teams, creates a pdf document etc...

The flow works when I as an owner of the flow triggers it via the PowerApps app. It was also working for other users till yesterday. However, now the it is not working for other users using the PowerApps app.

Can someone please help me with this. Very much thankful to the Power Community! 🙂

    Hello @abhishekgawde

    Have you changed the name or the permissions of your flow?

    Regards,

    Ferran

    No I did not change the name of the flow. But what do you mean by permissions of the flow?

    If you are calling a flow from Power Apps, the users using the Power App should have permissions on that flow too, since it is executed on the context of the user.

    Hello, I have the same issue. If I try to share power automate flow, i can only add user as owner. Which means they can edit/delete the flow. Is it then the right way do proceed ? Thanks for your help

    Hi,  I have exactly the same issue as your screenshot.  do you have any solutions yet?  I will continue researching.  In my case:

    1. users fill a form -> triggers a flow to a list

    2. a new entry in the list -> triggers various flows to update other lists and send emails

    it works 100% for me (the owner/creator).  I started testing with colleagues and it did not work.  I added them as owners to all my flows.  it works.  But I do not want them to touch anything 'under the hood' of this solution.

    I thought it strange that step 1 worked, but step 2 did not.  then I see the comment about "context of users"...step 1 has zero user context (simply copies the entries to a list), however step 2 does have various contexts including sending an email with the user id of the user who filled the form.  Thanks
