I have a PowerApp connected to two SharePoint Lists. One contains data and the other is an access list. I control access simply by who is logged into the app and then it will only display information for their particular area.
This works just fine, but people can still just go to the SharePoint List and see information for all areas.
My question is, is it possible for someone to have access to SharePoint List for purposes of the PowerApp, but are prohibited from accessing the SharePoint List directly?
@WarrenBelz Thank you! I was not aware of this functionality.
Hi @mkusler ,
Give them a custom permission level based on Contribute, but with View Application Pages unchecked - they then cannot navigate to the SharePoint view/s of the list/s
