Creating Folder Shortcut

Is it possible to create a shortcut to a folder within SharePoint using Power Automate?

I am trying to create the following flow:

  1. Enter data into a list
    • "Quote Number" and "Project Name"
  2. Create a folder called Quote Number-Project Name
  3. Create a shortcut in other sites that can link to this folder

I successfully created steps 1 and 2 but am not able to find any information on creating folder shortcuts in SharePoint through PowerAutomate.

    Hello @DamoBird365

This is awesome and very helpful. Thanks a lot. I added the sharepoint document folder location to my Dynamics 365 where I now see the shortcut, but when I click on it, it is not opening immediately but downloading the URL to my PC.

Is there a way to overcome this?

    Hi @RL91

A shortcut to a SharePoint Folder is simply the path of the folder(s) after the root of the Document Library URL.  So where a site address is:

    https://sharepointtenant.sharepoint.com/sites/DamoBird365/Shared%20Documents

and the folder(s) you are looking to navigate to are called:

    1111-Project Name

Your link for the SharePoint folder will be :

    https://sharepointtenant.sharepoint.com/sites/DamoBird365/Shared%20Documents/1111-Project Name

You can then create a url file on another doc lib like so:
