Having trouble getting attachment to pass into collection and patch to list. Is this something that can be done?
Hi @SarahKeown ,
The only way you can add attachments to a list directly from Power Apps is with an attachment control in a Form using either SubmitForm() or Patch(FormName.Updates). It can also possibly be done using Power Automate, but would be rather complex in your case.

I have made some changes to try and make this work, had some trouble with the structure/setup of the app.
So currently have a list of the sharepoint list items, an action that opens a container with the attachment input.
When I click add attachments I want to submit the form, but I want to submit/add the attachment to the previously selected record, is there a formula for this?
Your Attachment Control needs to be on a Form and you need the ID of the record, then you can use
Patch( ListName, LookUp( ListName, ID = YourLastRecordID ), YourFormName.Updates )
Either that or a more complex patch using Power Automate.
