How to access Business Central tableextensions variables in Flow?

Hi Community,

we created several custom fields for the Customer, Vendor and Account table in Business Central.  The BC extensions work fine. When trying to access those customized fields via Flow unfortunately they aren't showing up in the list of the table and its accessable variables. Where is the problem? Is Flow only able to access the default fields of a table and is not abled to access fields offered by extensions? Is there any way to access those customized fields?

Help is gladly appreciated!

Greetings

    Hi @Anonymous,

Could you please share a screenshot of the configuration of your flow?

Could you please share more details about your issue?

Please share more details so we would try to provide a proper workaround for you.

    Best regards,

    Alice

    Hi Alice,

    thank you for replying.

We are using the standard flow connector for business central. It shows up all the inbuild fiels but our customized ones.

    Check out the Screenshot: flow

In the table customers we created a pageextension and a tableextension for the use of two more fields "CRMIdentifierCustomer" and "Alte Debitornummer" ("old customer number"):

    Pageextension code:

    Pageextension

    Tableextension code:

    tableextension

Our extension is published and running fine. Could there be a problem with a web service? We published the customers table as a service. I will test in PowerBI if I am able to see the customized fields and will come back soon. Stay tuned.

    Greetings

    It's me again.

So I created a configuration package in Business Central in order to make a dump of our customers list. I wanted to check if our programmed fields are available in the dump. The programmed fields I have mentioned are indeed appearing in the dump. Unfortunately and nonetheless they are not showing up in the field selections when creating a flow for that specific table of customers.

    Greetings
