Complete a task in Asana — > Delete a task in Planner.

Hello,

I have already successfully built a flow that creates a new task in Asana every time I add a task in Loop (which by extension adds a task automatically in Planner).

I've been trying to build a reverse flow that'll delete the original task in Loop/Planner when I complete the corresponding task in Asana, but haven't had any luck. I've tried a few variations of the flow in the attached photo. I'm at a loss and would appreciate any help! Thanks in advance.

Hi @masondeepl ,

Can you confirm that the Task ID from Asana is equal to Planner task Id? From my view, the two Ids are both generated by system automatically, which makes them definitely different. Do you have any common and unique values saved in both sides to help you find corresponding tasks? For example, task Title in Planner and task name in Asana.

Thanks for your response.

I changed Task ID to Task Name in Asana and Task Title in Planner, which are identical. That didn't help unfortunately. I've included screenshots of the updated flow as well as the error message below. Thanks again for your help!

Hi @masondeepl ,

The error is caused by the Get Task by ID action, could you please share the outputs from the trigger in the recent run history?

I don't have an Asana account to test the connector, so please provide more details.

Hi @masondeepl ,

I cannot find Task ID returned from the trigger, this may cause Get task by ID failed. Please remove the Get task by ID action, just compare Planner task title with Asana task name in the Condition control.
