Image showing broken link in GMAIL

Hi,

Going thru the Lesson 7 of the Power Automate section of the course.  I'm sending the book loan confirmation email to my gmail address, and I am receiving messages no problem.  However, the image (ContosoElementaryImage) generated in the compose step of the flow appears as a broken link in the email. I've double checked, and everything appears to be correct in the compose step.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

Pat

    Hi,

Yes, please share pictures and code so we can make a more educated suggestion.

As it is, can you even show the link itself that is being generated versus whats in the Email?

    Hi everyone,

I spent a couple hours trying to get this to work on friday, with no success.

The initial method demonstrated in the video doesn't work using the Gmail Sen email (v2) connector.  Not for me anyway.

So i hunted around for a solution, AI recommended using the attachement port of the connector directly, but that proved to be a waste of time as well.  It may have been syntax, and I will probably retry this at a later time, as it's not preventing me from moving on with the lessons.

Is anyone aware of any specifics to embedding base64 jpeg in an email sent to gmail via a PowerAutomate flow?

    Thanks for your help!

I didi a bit more digging, apparently Gmail just doesn't support Base64 encoded image.
