How to time out the flow after a specified time (for example, 1 hour after execution starts)

Hi, Could you please tell me the solution below.

At some point during the flow execution it fails to recognize the object and stops without even throwing a timeout error.

I'm guessing there are probably other better solutions, but for now I'd like to build a flow that will timeout after a certain amount of time.

So that could you tell me "How to time out the flow after a specified time (for example, 1 hour after execution starts)"

I have the same question (0)

    Hi @dominono9

By timeout did you mean terminate/stop?

At the beginning capture the start time.

Then at certain sections in your flow you can have a check to see if the current time is greater than 1 hour of the start time. If yes then use Stop flow action. If not then continue.

    @VJR

    Thank you for replying

What I mean by timeout is "the erroe is thrown".

The problem I'm facing is that the error is not thrown and the flow stops (As you know, I know that an error is usually thrown after some time, but in my situation the error is not thrown).

※Let me be a little more specific situation,

I am creating a flow to operate a business web system. Since Popup appears on the way, there is a process of deleting Popup by pressing the "OK button", but there are times when Popup recognition succeeds and Popup recognition fails, and if popup recognition fails, PAD proceeds to the next action and tries to find the next object, but of course it cannot be found, It keeps looking for the next object. (And the problem is that it doesn't throw an error.😫)

As long as an error is thrown, I believe that I can solve the problem  by "exception handling(=setting a "On error")".

If I understood the issue correctly, I think you can make use of either or both of the below actions asper your needs.

The first one is an If statement so its outcome can be easily handled.

And the second one has a timeout error option if the element is not found.

I hadn't thought of a way to do that.

I can't try it anymore today, so I'll try it again later and get back to you. Thank you so much for your thoughts!

You can add parallel tasks, create a delay of about 90 minutes, send a notification to the owner, and then terminate the flow.
