I am building a Leave Request Form Automation and need to be able to convert my populated word Template to PDF, so I can attach the pdf to email.

However, I cannot get the Convert Word doc to PDF to pull the newest file from SharePoint or One Drive, it will only allow me to pull a static file, even when using dynamic content.

Is there a Work around for this, so I can successfully pull the newest form saved in the SharePoint or One Drive rather than the static file?

Use OneDrive for Business as a temporary conversion staging area because its Convert file action reliably accepts the Id returned by the previous Create file step.

When a new response is submitted (Forms trigger) - unchanged.
Get response details - unchanged.
Populate a Microsoft Word template (Word Online Business) - unchanged, points at your template in SharePoint or OneDrive.
Create file in the final SharePoint library - saves the populated .docx where your users expect it. Use the File Content dynamic content from step 3.
Create file in OneDrive for Business (temporary folder) - same File Content, same file name. This is the copy you will convert.
Delay - 30 to 60 seconds (raise if you have large templates or throttling).
Convert file (OneDrive for Business, not Word Online) - File = Id output of step 5, Target type = PDF. This is the action that "just works" with dynamic content.
Create file in SharePoint (PDF library) - File Name = <same base name>.pdf, File Content = the output of step
.Delete file (OneDrive) - pass the Id from step 5 to keep the temp folder clean.
Send email with the SharePoint PDF as attachment - the goal you started with.
