'Apply to Each' Failure in Sequential Approvals

Hello, I'm very new to power automate and but have set up a sequential approvals flow and tracking table.

I am running into the below 'Apply to each' error with the flow. All the steps and approvals have been met and registered however i can't seem to 'terminate' the flow after the final approval. I then get a failure after the flow expires at day 30.

Any ideas would be welcomed - Many thanks!

    Hi @tlnn43 ,

You can add another branch or path (Add a parallel branch) to handle the situation where the flow times out:

For example, Add a parallel branch after your Approval action:

Then configure the run after settings for this branch to handle the situation where the previous action (Approval action) times out:

Tick the "has timed out" box:

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Ellis,

Thank you for your response and the details on how to apply this. However I am wondering if this would still work as I have actions after the approvals.

Currently the process works once (see below 1 of 2 under the apply to each) and then for some reason it starts a second run? I can't see how to exit this loop, apologies i'm still very new to this so it may be my understanding!

    Thank you!

You Approval action sits inside a loop (Apply to each loop 12) and this is the reason it could be running more than once. Please check your flow.

From what you have said, the first approval completes successfully, but then another approval is kicked off but is left until it times out.

With so many loops it can be complex to debug. Please share your flow, along with a clear description of what the flow is trying to achieve.
