Issue: Failed to assume control of Chrome (Communication with browser failed. Try reloading extension).

Getting error message "Failed to assume control of Chrome (Communication with browser failed. Try reloading extension)." While executing the test flows contains steps involving Google chrome. Whereas the Power Automate Extension is added to Chrome and active. Facing this issue since the last update 2.27.00186.22340. All the flows were working perfectly in the past.

    This solved the issue for me with latest win11 update , PAD 2.27 and latest extension.

     

    Remove windows store version of PAD, then install with MSI installer afterwards. Link with info below.

     

    Try installing using MSI Installer
