Testing FLOWS are almost impossible!!!

When I create FLOWs that have multiple steps that are triggered by list item updates, it is almost impossible to test when it takes almost 15 minutes to send alerts!!

1) I create a new item and wait for at leaset 5 minutes.

2) I update the item after I finally get the alert

3) about another 5 minutes go by and finally I get the alert and I see I misspeled something.

4) fix speling and wait anpother 10 minutes

5) get my own testing complete now I have to add the real recipients of the FLOW

6) wait another 5-15 minutes

testing a FLOW with 3 steps take a minimum of 30 minitues to test this is really an unacceptable time to have to wait for each step to go.

Is there a way to make FLOWs fire off emediatly after updating an item? At least for testing...

The behaviour you describe is not how I find it when using the following connector.
Which test method are you using?
"I'll perform the trigger action" or "Using data from previous runs"
I would advise the former. not the latter as there is a delay when you perform the Trigger action. In the most, using a previous run does the trick.

I wonder if what you're Flow is doing generally is taking a while, is that possible? (Maybe you can post a detailed image of it)
Have you tried making a really simple Flow using the same trigger and testing it's performance when testing?

You say "I update the item after I finally get the alert", does that mean you have an action to send a Push Notificatior on an email maybe?

I use neither...
I enter an item into a list and wait for the alert.
then I update the item in the list and wait for the alert.

My FLOWS work off of list items and when certain columns get updated, a FLOW should go.
Depending on what is in the column, depends on what alert is sent.
How would i make the correct updates using the test button??

OK I tried using the test button and it does send the alerts right out.
