Prior Month for Power Automate

Hi Power Automate Community,

 

i am creating a flow which schedules emails to send every month to certain individuals in my org requesting them for some data. however, being in finance we report for the prior month so on 01.05.23 where my report is scheduled, i will be asking for April 2023 data. 

 

in my email body i have an expression 

utcNow('MM/YYYY') but when i do the -1 to get prior month it says invalid expression. 
 
can you help me with the correct please? where am i going wrong.
