Hi there - I have recently started using Flows and I have a question regarding how to send a single email out once a list item has been created, if the item does not exist in another list.
We have setup a dashboard for vehicle checks within our company, this consists of checklists which are Forms, this populates a main Vehicle List (picture 1). I have a separate Vehicle Allocation List (picture 2) which details who is ultimately responsible for maintaining those vehicles. I have a Flow which when a form is submitted, it updates this list and looks to see who is allocated in the allocation list and updates that column. I have another flow which looks up who is responsible for the vehicles on the allocation sheet, and if the email column is ‘yes’, then this sends them an email including necessary details.
It all appears to be working okay, but I am having issues with one additional function – I would like a flow to send an email if the vehicle registration does not appear on the allocation sheet. I have tried this in several flows, and they either send emails for every unallocated entry every time, or they appear to also send emails off if an allocated vehicle is put in. Could you please suggest a method of doing this? It doesn't matter if it works off the original form submission or when an item is created in the list. Thank you for your time!
Picture 1 (more supervisors down the list, and columns continue to the right-hand side, Registration is the ‘Title’ Column)
