Number Input modern control does not accept type ins

modern number input control cannot accept type ins? so I have to step through just to get to my target number? how is this not implemented?

    I suggest you revert to classic controls for the present if Modern items are not doing what you need - they are not really production-ready in may aspects presently.

    Thank you Warren.
    due to this my whole UI will look ugly since I am mainly using modern control and now I have some fields using classic ones. 
    do you know if there is a channel to report issues with modern controls? many are reporting issues with modern controls.

    as already stated by Warren, they are not ready to be used in productive apps. even microsoft themself say they are only here to play around atm.
     
    i dont think reporting  the issue somewhere will speed up the development process of modern controls. so in my point of view the only thing to do here is to wait
