Duplicate Site Environment Variable created in Non Default environment

Hi, I'm new to environment variables in Power Apps. I've followed a video tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BFGcXSAgawM to try and test it out.

I noticed that when I'm in the Default environment, when I establish connection to SharePoint lists, Power Apps will detect if the environment variable that was created for a site exists, and prompt me to use the existing variable. However, when in a Developer environment, it does not provide the option to reuse existing variables, but will create as many site environment variables as the number of lists in the site that I'm connecting to. This is bizarre.

Has anyone else run into the same problem? Or is environment variables not yet mature enough for use?

Thank you.

    Hi @Conax

I agree that the environment variables are a headache sometimes.

But regarding your question: When you are connecting to a Sharepoint datasource, you can find the environment variables in the Advanced tab.

Thanks Adrian. I am aware of that. However, that was not my question.

i was looking for a way to have Power App not to create duplicate variables for the same site.

It looks like the only way is to turn off 'auto create environment variables' and then manually create the variables myself.
