Scheduled email flow to send email

I have a scheduled flow which is set to run daily to send an email if a certain condition is met. This flow works as intended if I manually enter the email address into the flow as shown below.

However, my SharePoint list has an item owner field which is set as Person or Group. When I change the email recipient from the manually entered email address to the owner email the flow adds two additional 'For Each' steps and the email is not sent.

Can anyone advise where I am going wrong with this.

Try switching back to the classic entry method and adding the step you need to do and re-test. You might need remove the additonal apply to each in the classic view. I know the new flow construction view is a little buggy at the moment.

Thanks for your suggestion. I switched back to classic but this did not resolve the issue.

I am sorry that did not resovle the issue.

In the classic view, can you add a compose after the get items to store the email address filed from the get items, then use the outputs of the compose in the email To Field.
