'Split On' for 'When a record is selected' not saving

Hi there,

My Flow needs to be able to run when multiple records in a CDS Model Driven App are selected,
I need all the data from each selected record in one single Flow, so I have gone into the settings of the trigger and set Split On to Off.

However when I save my flow, leave, then come back to edit it again, Split On has reverted back to On, this happens every time.

When I attempt to run the flow by selecting multiple records, a flow instance will run for each of them.

This seems like a bug.

Is anyone able to help me out?

Thank you

    Hi @claz ,

I can reproduce this situation, and I will report it to PG. If there are any updates, I will post back.

    Hi @claz,

You can solve this by exporting your flow as a zip file, unzip the file, and edit the file definition.json you can find it in the folder Microsoft.flow/flows/"Your flow id".

You should be able to find the splitOn property underneath the trigger object just set the value to null instead of a string and this should solve your issue (since it solved it for me aswell) when you zipped it again and imported the zip.

I should mention that it is possible that the trigger resets again if you apply changes to it, so be sure to check it just in case.

If this post helps you with your problem, please mark it as the Accepted solution.

If you find my response helpful, please give it a Thumbs Up.

    Hello @v-bacao-msft ,

any response from the product group on this. I am seeking similar solution as @claz. Unfortunately the solution from @Billy_C does not seem to work out, at least for me.

    Thanks

I just discovered this "Split On" option and turning it off is precisely what we need to get a flow working as expected for our solution.

Is this on a list of items queued to be fixed any time soon?

After updating the SplitOn property to null, when I attempt to import the package file I get the following error: "Something went wrong. Please try again later."
