Multiple Filters for one Gallery?

(0) ShareShare

I am struggling to add multiple filters to two different galleries. One of the galleries needs to have a dropdown, a combobox linked to a person column, and a date range function. The other needs to have two text fields and a date range function. I know how to set up the different filters with their contents (the names, dropdown choices, etc), but can't figure out how to filter a gallery with them.

Thanks in advance!

    @Anonymous ,

Here is an example of what you would use in your Gallery Items property.

    Filter(List/Collection, File=Dropdown2.Selected.File Or Title=Dropdown2_1.Selected.Title)

File and Title are my column names. You can use And/Or between the 2.

Thank you for the help; however, I think I am still doing something wrong.

This is what I have rn:

    Filter('Itafos NCR List_1', ITP=ITPFilter.Selected.ITP or Name=NameFilter.Selected.Name)

    and I get this error:

    Also I have two questions:

How would I format this if I wanted to add a date range filter option?

Would the filters work properly if I used 'or' and they only imputed one of the filters? For example, if they only wanted to filter the name category.

    Try capitalizing Or.

Using Or should work if they only use one.

Ok, that cleared up the error, however the gallery is still blank and doesn't display options.

Also how do I add a date range?

If you just set the gallery to 'Itafos NCR List_1' does it populate?

    Yes it does

Add one filter at a time and Type it in to make sure ITP try's to autopopulate. It may need Selected.Value

I have tried doing it this way but it doesn't populate anything. Also when I use selected.value it gives me an error saying my types aren't compatible for comparison.

Nothing tries to populate? Do you have your dropdown tied to the datasource?

Yeah I do. I know its linked, because the options show up.
