Hi,

My admin has created 3 Environments ( DEV , TEST, PROD ) , we are developing the Cloud and Desktop flows in DEV environments and every thing is working fine. now can we use the same DEV environment as production instead of moving the solution into PROD environment ?

in the same DEV environment I can create the PROD data connectors and will use as a Production environment.

Please advise are there any issues or difference or any reduced functionality in the DEV environment compare with PROD environment ?

or do we have any Cloud flow monitoring mechanism or automation to monitor in DEV environment ?

Ideally we don't want to use DEV as a PROD but we can't control from using multiple teams ?

Please advise.

Well, you should not use your development environment as a Production one, because the production will have more resources available.

For your scenario, since everything is working in Dev organization, you should follow ALM practices.

You can move configurations to another Environments with solutions, where you place the components inside a solution, export and then import it into the target organization.

Based on your scenario, you need to come up with the correct strategy.
