Hi,
I would like some advise on this matter. I am building an automated cloud flows in our company, which simply put data from MS Forms to the excel files - second flow convert them to the PDF form. On both types of these flows I sometimes get this error: "1 retries occurred.". What basically happens is, that the flow kind of cycle it self and one step of the flow just "doing its thing" till eternity. I was discussing it with our IT department but as they do not really do this kind of stuff we did not get any solution to it. Also its good to say, that it happens like in 1 of 10 runs. Could somebody please tell me what it is and how to solve it?
Thanks for your help.
Hi,
I tried the trice602 solution but it wasn't ideal so I tried to use retry policy on the Excel / OneDrive actions and the problem is now better handled. What I mean by that is, with default retry policy the flow will wait random time and then try to execute again. By setting the retry policy to fixed time I was able to eliminate the problem and in the worst case scenario the one action takes at max 1 minute.
Hope it helps.
Hi @Dobryden ,
I'm sharing this from another post. I haven't had time to test it but it looks good. You would add a resubmit flow for failures, skips, and time outs. On the step that contains retries, click on the "..." and select configure run after, then add resubmit flow. I will try this out myself tonight.

Hi trice602,
thanks for your suggestion but I would like to ask how this could exactly help when the error itself always happen before create file / copy file? I have mostly problem with this error on my flow 1 (see the attached pictures) where I add data to the excel file. Thanks
Hi @Dobryden ,
Please try adding a 3 minute delay before create file. It may help prevent these errors.
