Date in excel file: 02/25/2026

PA Flow input: 2026-02-25T00:00:00.000Z

Power Automate Flow "output": 2026-02-25T00:00:00Z

Date displayed in Planner: 02/24/2026

I am pretty certain this has to do with something being set to UTC time zone, though I'm not clear on where exactly. The excel file that PowerAutomate is sourcing from is in OneDrive.

I have a workaround (add 5 hours to the date), so that the OUTPUT shows : 2026-02-24T05:00:00Z, which then displays in Planner as expected: 02/25/2026

Is anyone able to explain to me exactly why this is occurring, and if there is a better way to ensure the dates aren't changed during this process?
