Hello,

I am trying to use OCR Tesseract in PAD but have the following error

Could not load file or assembly 'System.Drawing.Common, Version=6.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=xxxxxxxx' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference.

What can i do to fix this please? Thank you

PS Sorry unable to post in the PAD forum

I got the same issue, started at around 8-9th of July on all my usage of Tesseract as OCR-Engine. Still looking for solutions, tried reinstall etc, but no luck. Some refer to it as DLL-hell. Hoping for a PAD or Win update to fix.

Will the 2408 release scheduled for august fix this issue? Or is the Tesseract engine becoming removed from PAD options?

    2408 update fixes this; https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/released-versions/power-automate-desktop/2408

    • An error thrown when using the OCR actions with the Tesseract engine has now been fixed.

    Hi all,

I know I am kind of grave digging in this thread but I encountered the same problem a while ago.
Nothing fixed it, no update came to re-enable the OCR functionality.

But: I found a really simple work around:
just save the concerned app's screen shot to disk and run the OCR on that image file - works perfectly.

    Best Regards,
    Oliver
