We use a shared mailbox for multiple users. All recieved and sent emails need to be manually assigned to the users in the team. We are looking for a way to automate this assignment based on some rules and workflows. Is this possible? Some examples of teh rules/workflows we would like to implement are:
Automatically categorize incoming emails based on subject/content
Automatically categorize inbound/outbound emails based on sender
How do you currently categorize them? like marking priority or something?
I have built many flows linked from subject and sender(s). what i tend to do is save attachments or move emails.
For example, lets say you have a request and the subject is "Break Fix: #######" like someone created a ticket, you could create a flow to take that email and move it to a sub folder. i use a lot of sub-folders to categorize and in there im using the move email action. also in some cases like inbound attachments from reporting systems ill just save it automatically to sharepoint (or anywhere) and then ill move it to the processed folder. thats 1 less email i need to see, and then i setup flows to use the file that was automatically stored etc.
So if you give some details about what is needed im sure something could be built.
