Flow always runs successful but the action items are not always received.

I have a very simple flow that allows our field workers to submit their receipt and receipt form to the AP Department, then send a copy of the receipt to themselves.

The flow runs successful 100% of the time however, the email is only received 85% of the time. I have set permission on our SharePoint for AP to not be able to see the list items so they solely rely on that email. I have other flows modeled after this one and they run 100% of the time with the email received 100% of the time.

The work around that I've been doing is comparing emails sent with list items and in turn, resubmitting the flow for the list items that did not create emails. It's not very efficient. What's happening here?Misc Flow.PNG

    Hi @abhender

Most likely what's happening is When an item is created then afterwards users trying to load the attachments? By the time flow is running and users still uploading the attachments.  So this might be a timing issue. Add a delay action step after the trigger step.

    Thanks

    Hi @abhender ,

Because Send an email action is configured in Apply to each, the action in Apply to each will only be executed if the item contains an attachment.

When we create an item, if a large attachment is added, the item will be considered to be created first and the file will be uploaded later.

Therefore, when Flow is triggered, the attachment may not be uploaded successfully, so Flow determines that this item does not include attachments.

As suggested by abm, a common method to solve similar problems is to add a Delay action under the trigger and wait for about 30 seconds before executing the following action.

Please take a try and see if it helps.

    Best Regards,
