Planner task completed then send email depending on bucket

I have various planner tasks set up in buckets and want to send an email notification when these are completed.

There are different people responsible for the buckets but I have not found a way to send and email to an individual depending on the bucket of the task completed.

Any ideas?

I have a flow and am currently sending the email to all individuals who are responsible for a bucket. But would prefer to filter the emails by bucket owner.

Hi @EngExc,

There is no any way to find a bucket owner in planner in microsoft flow currently.

So you must know who is the owner of your all Buckets.

If you know who is the owner of your all Buckets,you could refer to screenshot below to create the flow:

Please count all Bucket in your plan Id, and add a switch case with each Bucket name,as my screenshot, if a task is completed in Bucket a, the email would be sent to test1, if a task is completed in Bucket b, the email would be sent to test2, and so on.

Hello - I know this thread is pretty old, but I'm trying to do something similar. Would it be possible to get an email once a specific task is marked completed and be sent an email saying which specific task was marked complete? In the screenshot provided above, I can't figure out where the id, bucket id, and name comes from in the condition and switch.

Here's my current workflow. My "buckets" are Quarantines and COVID Positive.
