Issue with updating records in SharePoint

Hi All. I'm still incredibly new to Power Automate, so I apologize if this is a simple solution, and I just don't know how to build the flow. Here is my use case:

I have a business process within my organization which requires users to confirm that they attended trainings hosted by a trainer. These training sessions usually occur biweekly or monthly depending on the amount of material the trainer has. To assist with modernizing this, I built a Power App utilizing two SharePoint lists. One has a list of users, and the second references the first and has three additional columns: the date the training session took place, the status for the user, which by default is set to 'No Response', and finally a date field for when the user confirmed their attendance to the session. The way the app is currently designed, the trainer pushes a button that builds a collection, and then patches multiple records in the second table, adding a record for each user based on the date the trainer selects. Then, the users log into the app, select the appropriate drop down response from a list, and hit save. Compared to the old process, it is far more intuitive.

That being said, I see a further opportunity to improve the overall process. I would like to build a flow that utilizes the MS Teams Attendance Report to update the records generated by the app. In essence if the User's email address is present in the Teams Attendance Report, I would like to update the record associated with that user to show as 'Confirmed Attendance'.

My flow is listed below:

In essence, the flow is set to run every Tuesday at around 7 PM in the evening. I have a parse set up for the Attendance Report courtesy of How to process Teams attendance report with Power Automate (tomriha.com).

However, I am running into a problem when I am trying to update my SP List and change the status of the records. I'm not sure how to match the email address to the user name as the lookup, while ensuring that only the records associated with that particular session are updated. Ie, if there are three sessions in the table, I only want the correct session to be updated, not all three.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, and if I can provide any clarifications, please let me know. Thanks!
