Bot name is retaining old name and not refreshing properly

Hi everyone,

We published a chatbot a little while ago and after a community vote, we renamed the bot from Harri to Artie.

However, the bot has retained it's old name in a few places.

Power Virtual Agents - correct

However, when clicking the bot information and the name when adding the bot, it retains the old name and description - the icon on the Teams task bar is also incorrect.

Does anyone know how to fix this and revert to the correct name?

Can you try and uninstalling the bot and reinstalling, following this doc:

Unfortunately I have tried uninstalling and reinstall (and so have my colleagues) and it still sticks to the old name ☹️

Did you re-publish the customizations after you uninstalled and before the re-install?

I just noticed that the ability to rename a bot in Teams is still being worked on. The idea is marked as completed, but doesn't seem to be deployed yet based on the comments.

Hi, that might be it - darn. It's a bit annoying that the name can't be changed 😞
