Hi,

Can any one help me in the issue where I am facing the issue while creating the list items in the folder in on-prem site.

I am using "Send http request to Sharepoint" action for this.

Below are the method I am using to creating items:

I can create items in folder using the above method on sharepoint online list but not on on-prem list

The gateway is working fine as as I am able to do other actions without any issues.

Not sure if I am missing something here or the method is not correct.

The error after run is below:

Cannot find resource for the request AddValidateUpdateItemUsingPath.
clientRequestId: fd5746f3-c565-4b78-8417-fcbf8e5bf38e
serviceRequestId: 0c63719f-079a-10d3-983d-b62c2cb1e030;0c63719f-0796-10d3-be6f-70b47b9c84e7

Thanks

Vkas

    Hi Krishna,

I tried this solution earlier as well. Getting below error:

    serverRelativeUrl

Parameter name: Specified value is not supported for the serverRelativeUrl parameter.

    clientRequestId: 34f4a470-1ade-4972-a683-f58948a100a4

From the output side, it looks like the FileRef and FileLeafRef values are not going to the next action. See below. I tried to get the values in variable as well but nothing is coming.

    Hello,

May your gateway connection has full permission on sharepoint folder? What is the error message?

And you may check https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Power-Query/How-to-configure-On-premises-Gateway-to-SharePoint-Folder-source/td-p/101743 to confirm if you do correct configuration on gateway

    Thanks

    Hi,

    Yes the gateway is fine.

Using the same gateway I can create items in on-prem list.

The only problem is that I am unable to create items inside list folders.

So I am creating items on top level and trying to move to folder using the given actions.

The problem is the fileRef and FileLeafRef values are not going to next actions (See my screenshots above)

    Thanks

    Hi Vkas,

As you mentioned, I may find it fails on transferring fileRef  value. For this kind of issue, we may need check backend trace from both flow and sharepoint side. I would suggest you open a Microsoft support ticket with flow run sequence id.

    Thanks
