Filtering with toLower Error

Hello,

We have a Business Central Table which can output projects. The projects have customernames, I can find these projects based on customernames. But, sometimes the customername within Business Central has for example a uppercase at the start and the searchvariable I'm using has not.

See the Example below, I need to find the customername in LowerCase within BC.

The first Expression is the error, this is the column im trying to filter and in which the output has to be in lowercase in order for the second Expression to work. Is this even Achieveable? Right now I'm getting the error because i am trying to LowerCase the column name, not the name within BC.

Any help is appreciated.

    Hi @OkanAT

The left part of eq should use Odata native tolower() function, instead of the flow one.

    see reference: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/13495905/odata-query-filter-conditions-and-case-sensitivity

    Hope this help

    Hello,

    Thanks for your reply.

This doesn't give back the sellToCustomerNames in lowercase values

    Hi @OkanAT

BC does support Odata filter tolower() function.

Could you please share your filter expression?

    Hi Nelson,

Thanks for the link to the docs, I was giving the column between '', which must have not been done in order to have the values in BC in lowercase. It works. Thanks

Expression i have now: tolower(columnnamewithoutdoublequites) eq toLower'value to search'
