Recording the execution status of a flow

Recording the execution status of a flow implemented in Power Automate Desktop and saving it as a video could be helpful for error handling. How can this be achieved, and are there any proven methods or individuals with experience in this? By the way, I gave up on using Windows 11's Snipping Tool and PowerPoint because the flow stops when selecting the snipping area.

    Try with the shortcut key: Win + Alt + R

    So in PAD use Send keys -action with Text to send: {LWin}({LMenu}({R}))

    Have 5-10s wait because it can take some time to start.
    And redo that Send keys -action at the end to stop the recording.

    For me it saves the recording by default in C:\Users\MyUser\Videos\Captures

    I would recommend using Take screenshot -action or some text actions that logs each action to csv file instead of recording the flow runs. The video recordings will take alot of space so you will need to delete old videos frequently if you don't want to use lot of space on your machine. Or build a logic to the flow that removes old recordings.

    That recording every flow run might also slow the machine down so much that it will produce more errors just because of the recorder being on.

    So rather than recording ever flow run to video build good error handling logic. Also if you have Premium lisence then run the flow from the cloud so you can see a log of the run and every action that was done and their outputs.

    Hi, eetuRobo. Thank your for the answer.
    I encountered the following red text in the next setup. What measures would you take regarding this?

    <PowerShell command1>

    # Snipping Toolを起動

    Start-Process -FilePath "snippingtool.exe"

    # 少し待機してから全画面領域の録画を開始

    Start-Sleep -Seconds 2

    Add-Type -AssemblyName System.Windows.Forms

    [System.Windows.Forms.SendKeys]::SendWait("^{+}{S}")

    <PowerShell command2>

    # 録画を停止するまで待機

    Start-Sleep -Seconds 10

    [System.Windows.Forms.SendKeys]::SendWait("{Enter}")

    # 録画した動画を保存

    $savePath = "C:\Users\eise5093\Videos"

    Ah actually I noticed that this is Windows Gaming feature (Win + G or with just the recording Win + Alt + R) is only able to capture window that you start the recording with (so not full screen but just one app window)

    So its meant for game recordings so you could do something else in other screen and that would not be captured.
    You can capture web browser or Excel but it records only those windows and not the whole screen.

    If that doesn't meet your needs then I think you will need to think of some 3rd party applications to have the flow start recording.
