Hello,

I'am trying to have in a sharepoint column all of the approval history of my flow.

My issue is that when i want to add a new line to the current approval history, the new value is updated but the old one is missing.

1. the first line of my approval history:

2: Update status after first approval

At this step this is working i have this not value added to the current value

3. New update item after second approval:

Now the column is only showing the first default value + this new one but not the older one

And the same for the last "Update Item" so by the end of my flow my approval history has only 2 lines the one from the last "update item" that i added + the one from the first "update item 1"

can someone help ?

thank you i hope i am not to messy with my explaination

    Hi @Anonymous ,

    Thanks for your detailed description.

So in your flow, approval history of "Update item 1" will be filled with value 1, approval history of "Update status to GLOBAL MD" will be filled with newly added value 2 plus value 1. Finally, in "Update item", you'd like to fill approval history with newly added value 3 plus value 1. Hope I made my understanding correctly.

Advice is to store each value in an "Compose" action separately, so that you can add them freely in Approval history without influencing each other.

    Best regards,

    Wenjuan Zou

    Hi @Anonymous ,

You can pack contents you wanna update to Approval History into a "Compose" action respectively before every "Update item" action.

so that in your last "Update Item", you can add outputs of Compose 3+Compose 1.

    Hello,

In the compose action should the inputs be a dynamics value ? wich one ?

It's not working because since all update item actions are under an apply to each i can't put severals outcomes of the compose action same as i can't put the "approval history" dynamics value from "update item" under a upply to each action.. 😞 i hope you understand my issue
