Flow Trigger Polling based or trigger based

I have a question regarding the flow triggers. These triggers are polling based or event trigger based. For example- i have created a flow which has a trigger - 'When an item is created in SharePoint list'. Does this trigger polls for the changes in the list or its even driven that whenever a new item is created in a list, it fires the flow?

And does it differ based on how i create flow like creating directly from sharepoint list or creating in flow portal?

    @Vartika :

    While I can't answer your first question, I can say that Flows that run from a SharePoint When an Item is Created trigger usually will run immediately and can take up to a number of minutes to fire.  The maximum amount of time is dependent on your Flow license.  I assume that Flow is polling but I don't know that for a fact and it does not impact how I write my Flows.

    I makes no difference whether you create your Flow from the Flow portal or start it from the list interface from the Flow menu item.  Generally speaking, creating the Flow from the list interface will save you a small amount of time.

    I also assume that SharePoint trigger 'When an item is created' polls for the changes in the list but there is no clear documentation or explanation for it. I am trying to find out the major differences between flow and logic app and wanted to know if they both use polling or only logic app uses polling.

    @Vartika :

    Flow actually is a Logic App application.  The Flow triggers are the Logic App triggers.
