Converting Time in Planner Using PowerAutomate

Hi All, @ChadVKealey,

I do have a Form that flows into a Planner and I am using PowerAutomate.

The question in the form is like this and both are optional.

When I have them as required and there is a user input, it works fine and I am using this:

But since is now optional, what can I do to address it?

I have them both here too in Create Task:

Thanks in advance!

The most straightforward way to manage this would be to surround each 'convert time' action with a condition that checks if 'starttime' is empty (you can express this as 'empty(starttime) equals true').

Then, under the 'false' branch, you can place your action and refer to it as you are currently doing. This means that if this action is empty, then the date in the planner will also be empty.

    Thank you, @MarcelLehmann.

    I used this expression:

    empty(outputs('Get_response_details')?['body/r50cda625bcc44fceb57a2f460ba38e76'])

    I am getting an error:

InvalidTemplate. Unable to process template language expressions for action 'Convert_time_zone_-_start_date' at line '0' and column '0': 'In function 'converttimezone', the value provided for date time string '' was not valid. The datetime string must match ISO 8601 format.'.

I can't clearly see it in the picture, but shouldn't the 'convert time' action be on the other side? So that it only processes when it's not empty.

It worked! I moved it to the other side. Thank you, @MarcelLehmann!
