Hi All,
Need some expert help.
I have a client that I have previously built Power Automate flows that are attached to my user (me). Based on reviewing these forums, it looks like 'best practice' is to have these flows attached to a service account with the appropriate Microsoft licenses assigned.
So, for this upcoming project I am working with IT to set up a service account. My question is, will/should the 'Subscriptions' page for my service account user, have licensing assigned that looks just like my own user account. The reason I ask is, IT is telling me that they have assigned the licensing to this service account, but it doesn't look anything like my user accounts subscription page. Here's a screen shot of the service account's subscription page:
For any of you that have set up a service account, does this look correct?
Any advice or help appreciated,
Thanks,
Philip
Hi @pguth ,
Your admin may not have allocated the relevant license for you from M365 admin center. I suggest contacting them.

Thanks @eric-cheng - one follow-up question. I notice that when I log in as this service account user and then go to the SharePoint List to create a new record, I receive the following message...requesting the use to create a trial account. Does this seem right/correct to you? Shouldn't I be able to do anything with this service account that I can do with my own user account?
Hi @pguth ,
Based on that, the service account should be able to create and run Power Automate flows using standard connectors.
What is the main difference for you? You may have per app/user licensing which allows for premium connectors or D365?
