Powerapps Solutions how is it working?

Hello simple question:

when you create an app into a dev sharepoint and placed in solution.

After you finished it and import into a production sharepoint .

When you do changes in the dev app, into the dev sharepoint, do you need to do manually update or is this update itself into the production sharepoint site?

If you publish the app, It should update itself, you dont need to do nothing
