Error We weren't able to add this connection. Please try again

I built a PowerApp that has 2 connections:

  1. Office 365 User - Office 365
  2. SharePoint - Office 365

Issue:

Some users (in remote locations, not at headquarters). Can't open the PowerApp. They are stopped when prompted to sign into the data connections for (Office 365 users, and SharePoint). They get the error "We weren't able to add this connection. Please try again."  and the app does not open.  These remote locations have poor internet bandwidth. Could that be the issue?

App high level Summary of actions:

  1. Displays User Profile information (Profile pictures, name, Department, etc)
  2. On Submit, commits record to SharePoint list

Error text:

When I try to sign in it gives me this error.

    Hi @rcharnock,

Please check if those users have the proper permission on the data source. For example, if they could access the SharePoint list with the correct permission on SharePoint side. Some connection types are shareable, but SharPoint Online requires each user to bring their own connection. Here are some details on sharing of resources: https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/tutorials/share-app-resources/

    Regards,

    Mona

I am having the same issue. One user is getting this message but it is working for everyone else. Yes they have the correct permissions. The connections are to outlook and onedrive.

All my users, the ones that connection works for and the ones it doesn't have E1.

What is E1? Is there any update to the issue?
