404 - File or directory not found - Upload a file or an image Dataverse

Hello everyone,

I'm having an issue with a cloud flow. Every time I try to upload a file from OneDrive to Dataverse, I get this error message:

404 - File or directory not found The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

What I do is pretty simple. Get the files from an specific folder and for each file, I create a new row in Dataverse and then proceed to Upload a file or an image

Do you have any sub-folders in that directory? Those will be included in the results coming back and if you try to use "Get file content" passing in the ID of the sub-directory, I think it might return the 404 error you're seeing. Not sure without doing some experimenting, but that would be my guess.

    Hi @barret

Thanks for the quick reply. No, I don't have subfolders and the Get file content works fine for the two files I have in the folder, the activity that is failing is the Upload a file or an image

After a few tests, I finally found the mistake. I was using the wrong dynamic content to reference the Dataverse Record. The thing is that the exception message is not clear at all and feels like is referencing an error with the OneDrive file instead with the Dataverse record.

For everyone who is still wondering which is the right reference to your record:

Its not the OData ID, its a value which often has the same name as your table when created.

Just look for the description "Unique Identifier ..." under the value.
