Extract data from email attachment to excel sheet

Dear all, 

 

Hoping if someone can share their experiences, I'm trying extract data from email attachment (.html) contain table to Excel file. 

Scenario. 

Email arrives with an attachment (.html file format) and the attachment will have table and content, I would like to extract data from .html to excel using power automate. 

Email arrives > outlook rule to a FOLDER> power automate > when an email arrives>

    Hey @Mahipundir,

     

    I have another idea. But yet to check from my side.

     

    Idea:

     

    1. The flow can start with a trigger - when an email is received.
    2. Save the attachment (.html) to One Drive or SharePoint.
    3. Use Get Row action (if you know Key) or List rows present in a table (with top count 1)
    4. Get the values of the first column with the title, and the second column value. Create a File name.
    5. Save the file to the local drive with the file name or One Drive or SharePoint
