Hey guys!
I'm trying to create a dropdown box inside a gallery using a excel's file as a datasource but it doesn't work.
I have a excel file that contains tasks to be done by workers. Every worker has more than one task to be done and they have to fill a campus called "status", that has a dropdown list with fixed status the tasks can be.
They app idea is to display in a home screen all the worker's names in a gallery, so they can choose their own.
When they selected their names, it will navigate to another screen that has a Gallery showing their tasks (Gallery filter by the collumn "Worker" they selected in homescreen) and the campus "Status" as a dropdown list for each task.
After fill all the dropdown boxes for each task, they will click in a button "apply" that will send the filled information to the original Excel file.
I created the gallery, it shows the right information for each worker, but when try to add a dropdown box for the Status Field, it always get outside the Gallery as a independent button.
How do I create a dropdown box inside the gallery to fill the information in the same field "Status" as the excel's sheet?
That's the whole point of creating this powerapp, people stop fill a Excel File and start using the app. Way more friendly.
