How to get Flow status in to PowerApps

Hi Folks,

As per the requirement we have implemented a flow to read excel values and insert in to SQL table, this is working fine.

But actually requirement is flow has to trigger when button click from PowerApps form.

once flow executed should respond status(any status if any error also)it should show in powerApps.

1. There is no input parameters from powerapps to flow.

2. Only response status has to display in PowerApps.

what are action/steps that i need to add to or to put condition for status

Help would be really appreciated.

Thanks

Here are the instructions for the communication between Power App and Flow:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/business-applications-release-notes/april18/microsoft-flow/return-data-powerapps

In the Respond to Power Apps action, you can mention the key and value pairs which you are want use in your Power App.

    Here is a sample:

Created a button and calling the flow as below. Setting the response from PowerAutomate into a variable. Whole response from the flow will be stored in the variable in Power App.

In the below screen shot: I am displaying the response from Power Automate.

    Here is the flow:

I hope this will be helpful.

    Hi all

This solution has some limitations. And also sometimes the respond to PowerApp times out after 2mins and won't respond anymore.

To get a "real time" Update into your App and to solve the timeout issue, i found this solution very helpful:
