    Hi,

The user can see the site in a browser but not via API.

    • The SharePoint connector in Power Automate uses the REST API, which sometimes enforces different permissions than browsing in the UI.

The user is not a member of the default Members group.

    • For example, if the user only has Limited Access via sharing links or specific folder permissions, the site will not appear in dropdowns.

    • You need at least Read permissions at the site level (not only on a folder).

The Document Library itself has unique permissions.

    • Even if you see the site, the connector can’t enumerate libraries without Read access.

The site was very recently created.

    • SharePoint indexing takes time (sometimes a few hours).

    • This can delay visibility in the dropdown.

The site is a private Teams-connected site.

    • Sometimes private sites behave differently in the connector.

    Hi,

    1. Manually Enter the Site URL

Even if the site doesn't appear in the dropdown, you can still use it:

    • In the “Site Address” field, click “Enter custom value”

    • Paste the full SharePoint site URL:

      https://<tenant>.sharepoint.com/sites/<sitename>
    • Power Automate will validate the URL and let you use it

This works even if dropdowns fail due to caching or enumeration errors.

     2. Check SharePoint Site Permissions

Ensure the user has at least "Read" permission at the site level, not just at a folder or file.

    Steps:

    1. Go to SharePoint → Site Settings → Site Permissions

    2. Ensure user is part of Site Members or has direct Read/Edit access to the root site

    3. If they only have shared access to a file or folder (not the whole site), they won’t see the site in dropdown

     3. Check Document Library Permissions

    1. Go to the library (e.g., “Documents”)

    2. Library Settings → Permissions for this document library

    3. If it says “This library has unique permissions,” ensure user has access here as well

     4. Re-authenticate the SharePoint Connector

    1. Go to Power Automate → Data > Connections

    2. Locate the SharePoint connection used

    3. Click ... > Switch account

    4. Re-authenticate using the same user

    5. Reopen the flow and check if the site appears

Fixes many token- or cache-related issues.

     5. Wait or Ask Admin to Grant Access

If the user was recently added:

    • Wait 30 minutes–2 hours

    • Or ask a site admin to:

      • Add them to the Site Members group

      • Verify access via “Check Permissions” in Site Permissions

If I have answered your question, please mark it as the preferred solution ✅ . If you like my response, please give it a Thumbs Up 👍.
    Regards,
    Riyaz
