Find row based on field value or custom row id?

I can't seem to figure out the logic to find a row based on another fields value.

I would either like to find the row based on the value of an arbitrary field of the row or specify the unique row ID to use what creating a new record.  I can manually edit the __PowerApps__ row id in the spread sheet to a value (Get my profile->user ID) and find row based on that.  Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

    Hi Chmp1,

Do you have a column in your Excel table to store the email address?

Could you consider to add a condition in your flow?

The data source is an excel sheet.

I understand how the "Row ID" works.

If in my flow I have, let's say, an email address how do I "get" the row associated with that email address.  All of the actions I have found get a row based on the "Row ID" which i will not know when the flow is triggered.

    Hi Chmp1,

Currently, the "Row ID" represents an ID which is different from the "Row Number", which you happen to be trying.

Once you create a connection to an Excel table, you will notice your table will now have a "__PowerAppsId__" column - that is where you find the ID for that row, that you can later specify in a Flow.

What’s the data source your flow based on?

    Best regards,
