Dynamicly Search Column Headers

Hey Community,

In my PowerApp I want to do something like this:

Set(searchparam; "hello");;
Set(ineedtobehere; ShowColumns(test_list; $"{searchparam}"));;

I can't convert my Variable into the String-Type the ShowColumns Function needs.
Is there a workaround or another Function that will Suit that case?

Thanks for your Help 🙂

Have a great Day.

    Hi , @aka271

    In my work experience, now in Power Apps can not use the variable to set the dynamic column name.

    For more information, you can refer to:

    Hi , @aka271

    Yes, in Power Apps you can just add the static column name(Text type) in ShowColumns():

    ShowColumns(Students,"ColumnName")

    For more information, you can refer to :
    AddColumns, DropColumns, RenameColumns, and ShowColumns functions - Power Platform | Microsoft Learn
