Workflow not running when new file is created

Hello,

I have created a few " Send a customized email when a new file is added" automated workflows in a SharePoint site. These workflows worked perfectly during the "Test Flow - I'll perform the trigger action", but it did work when it came to "Production". These workflows are "ON" status. Also, I checked the Run History and the last successful run was the testing run.

Flow: Send a customized email when a new file is added

Description: Send yourself or someone else a customized email whenever a new file is added to a selected SharePoint document library.

Type: Automated

Hello @carrie1031 By any chance both flows prod and dev are pointing to the same Sharepoint site? Looks like the flow that you created as a test is still on and one of them is triggering first

Hi @carrie1031

Make sure the PROD flow is connected to the PROD SharePoint site and also make sure the flow is turned on and all the connections to the email and other SharePoint connections are configured correctly. If there is no run history, the mapping must be wrong or the flow is turned off, or have you got any trigger condition?

Hi @carrie1031

What did you do to resolve your issue as I'm getting the problem where I can test and it works but when someone else tries it the flow doesn't trigger.

Hello

I used the Template Send a customised email when a new file is added. I have also tried just using the trigger When a file is created (properties only) together with the action Send an email (V2). Both flows will work for me but not for anyone else.

Did you include their email address in "Send an email (V2)?
